To put in to the pot the minimum amount of money necessary to continue playing. Calling Station: A passive player that frequently just checks or calls most bets, but doesn't raise or fold much. Cap: To put in the last raise permitted on a betting round. This is typically the third or fourth raise. Case: The last card of a certain rank in the deck. Center Pot: The first pot created during a poker hand, as opposed to one or more "side" pots created if one or more players goes all-in. Main pot. Check: If there is no bet on the table and you do not wish to place a bet. You may only check when there are no prior bets. Frequently, it is a sign of only a fair hand. Check raise: To check initially, and then raise a bet made later on in the same betting round. Community Cards: Face up cards on the table that are shared by all players. Texas Hold'em always has community cards. Collusion: A form of cheating where two or more players attempt to gain an unfair advantage by sharing information Crying Call: A ‘call’ that you make expecting to lose, but you feel you must make anyway because of the pot odds.
